Farmhouse in the City
It is always a good sign when your client truly lives by your design! This old house in NE Portland was in need of some major curb appeal. The biggest challenge in designing this project was to break up the very large driveway that went from the front of the property all the way to the garage at the back of the property. We solved this by embedding raised veggie beds and a winding path of a different style paver to break up the large expanse. In addition to changing the driveway we were able to re-route the front entry from the front to the side and define it with arbor indicating where you enter to get to the front door. The landscape installation was expertly done by Autumn Leaf Landscaping and the woodwork was done by Green Pepper Remodeling.
