YGP Show 2011
For the past 5 years Kevin Schindler of Autumn Leaf Landscaping and I have had the unique opportunity to create a display garden for the Spring Yard Garden and Patio Show at the Convention Center. Each year we try to stretch our creativity to provide something that show goers will remember and 2011 was no exception. The overall design style was a mix of Modern and Mediterranean. You will see that the lines of the overall design were very linear hence the modern in the description. The Mediterranean was mostly shown in the accessories throughout the space, such as in the wrought iron chandelier and the red filigree on the water feature. It always sad to see our creation taken down after only 3 days, but is well worth the experience of creating something fun and unique for people to enjoy!
